Our Visit to the Ehime Animal Welfare Center 🍊🐟

Hello! ☀

This is Daniel from NENE’s store, home of the magical pet brush, SHARR! 🌻

As part of our charitable activities, we visited the Ehime Animal Welfare Center in mid-October and donated SHARR brushes to support the animals there. 🐟🧡

In this article, we’d like to share what we learned during our visit and tell you a little about what animal welfare centers do.

🐟 What Exactly Is an Animal Welfare Center?

You may have heard of animal welfare centers, but have you ever wondered what they actually do? 🀔

Animal welfare centers are public facilities that protect animals such as dogs and cats, help them find new homes, and promote responsible pet ownership.

Here are some of their main responsibilities 👇

🐶 Protection and Care

They take in lost dogs and cats, injured animals, and other animals in need of protection.

🏠 Reuniting Pets with Their Owners and Finding New Homes

They work to reunite rescued animals with their original owners or connect them with loving new families.

📚 Education and Awareness

They provide information about responsible pet ownership, teach people about the importance of animal welfare, and offer opportunities to learn how to care for animals properly.

💬 Advice and Guidance

They offer advice on pet care and guidance to help owners provide appropriate care for their animals.

In some cases, euthanasia may be necessary when no other options are available. However, many local governments and animal welfare facilities are working toward zero euthanasia and continuing their efforts to protect animal lives.

They also monitor the health of animals in their care and provide necessary health management, including medical examinations and vaccinations.

Please note that specific services and medical care vary depending on the local government and facility.

🐟 Why Is Adoption So Important?

Animal welfare centers work to help rescued animals find loving new families. 🏠🧡

But did you know that the purpose of adoption programs goes beyond simply finding new owners for these animals?

The Ehime Animal Welfare Center emphasizes “developing responsible pet owners who can serve as role models in their communities.” 😌

To prevent animals from being abandoned or brought to the center after getting lost, every pet owner needs to gain the right knowledge and take responsibility for their animal throughout its entire life.

It is also important to share the principles of animal welfare with others. 🐟

To create a society where people and animals can live together safely and happily, we all need to think about how we treat and care for animals. 😌

🐶🐱 What We Felt During Our Visit

To be honest, before visiting the center, I imagined it might feel a little gloomy, and I wondered whether the animals received much grooming or care. (I’m sorry! 🙏)

But when we actually arrived, it was completely different from what I had imagined!

The dogs and cats were full of energy and seemed lively, and they were all so well-groomed! ✹

And most of all

They were ALL SO CUTE!!! 😍🩷

Many of the dogs were very friendly, and some even greeted us with sweet little kisses! 🐶💕

I was surprised by how many of them seemed to love being around people.

Some were a little shy or nervous, but that’s part of what makes each animal unique.

Every dog and cat had its own personality, and even those little differences made them all the more lovable. 🩷

The cats were just as adorable! 🐱🩷

Some were chatty little kitties, while others rubbed up against the cage, asking us for pets. The kittens were even snuggled up together, taking a peaceful nap in their hammock. 🥹💕

They were all just too cute for words! 🐟✚

There was so much we could only truly understand by visiting the center in person.

More than anything, I sincerely hoped that every one of these precious animals would find happiness and a forever home where they could receive endless love and care. 😌🌱🩷

Animal welfare centers are not just places that protect animals. They also help them find loving new families and educate people on how humans and animals can live together more happily and responsibly.

Many centers also hold educational sessions and events, so if there’s an animal welfare center near you, we encourage you to visit sometime! 🩷🐟

Our visit and the opportunity to donate SHARR brushes reminded us once again how important it is for NENE’s store to continue doing what we can to support animals. 🐟🧡

We hope this post inspires you to learn more about animal welfare centers and think about the little things we can all do to make a difference in the lives of animals. 🌻

Thank you so much for reading until the end!

See you again in our next post! 👋
